This Camaro is powered by a professionally built 396 big block featuring an Eagle forged bottom end with Eagle rods and crankshaft, JE 10:1 pistons and rings, and a healthy .625 solid roller cam (Comp Cams) with solid roller lifters and rockers. Topped with Chevy rectangle port heads, a Weiand Warrior intake manifold, and a Proform Race Series 750 CFM 4-barrel carburetor, this engine is built to perform. Ignition is handled by a GAL ignition system to keep spark strong and consistent.
Backing the big block is a built TCI Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a manual valve body and an 1,800 stall converter, delivering firm, responsive shifts. Out back sits a rugged Currie Ford 9” rear end with 4.10 gears, CalTracs, and subframe connectors to put the power down effectively. The car also includes an additional 1969 10-bolt rear end with 3.42 gears and mono leaf springs.
Handling and braking have been upgraded with new rack and pinion steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, giving this classic modern control and stopping power. The suspension setup combined with the CalTracs system makes this car hook hard and drive straight.
